Kauan from Russia describe their music as lounge doom and I actually think that’s a fairly accurate description. “Tietäjän Laulu” is their second full-length album, which is filled with six songs that have quite an ambient and soothing vibe. This type of music would be perfect as a score for a movie. The band consists of Anton Belov who does the vocals, guitars, keyboards and programming and Lubov Bushnikova who plays violin. Together with five guest musicians they managed to create a beautiful album that in a way is really relaxing to listen to. It’s hard to describe but it has a certain air you really need to hear to feel what I’m trying to get across.
