Nominon is one of those bands that have been delivering great old-school Swedish death metal. Their albums are much appreciated over here at Quintessence. This 7” EP, released by Holland’s Badger Records, is a nice addition to Nominon’s catalogue. Recorded in Branca, Portugal in 2005 when Nominon were on the road with Vital Remains this EP contains 2 songs of their “Recremation” album that at that time was brand new. The songs ‘Hordes of Flies’ and ‘Condemned to Die’ sound raw and filthy; exactly what you expect from an underground live recording. Dan Swäno worked a bit on the recordings at his Unisound studio but he kept the intensity of this live recording intact. When you are a fan of Nominon and Swedish death metal, this could be a nice addition to your collection.
