Sorrows Path
Resurrection
Eat Metal Records
This Greek band was already formed in the first half of the nineties and released two demo/promos but without much success, resulting in the end of the band in 1998, but they put it back together again in 2005. This “Resurrection” is their first full-length album and symbolises their come back.
Musically it is all a bit messy and not very impressing, in fact it annoys a bit every now and then. Resemblances with bands like The Lord Weird Slough Feg, Old Season, Candlemass and While Heaven Wept can be heard, yet it might be clear that Sorrows Path never reaches this level. I would say that this is a band that is a typical band that needs to grow a bit more and has to invest more in actual song writing and composing.
